Be a Conductor at the Tennessee Valley Railroad

Take a trip into history on a rolling time machine! When you ride a vintage train at the Tennessee Valley Railroad, you'll experience one of the original rail lines into Chattanooga. Along the way, you'll get to witness two unique methods of turning a train around: the better known turntable, and the way (think of doing a three-point turn with your car and you're close). One of the highlights of the trip is riding through Missionary Ridge Tunnel, especially noted for its uniqueness as a horseshoe tunnel.

Missionary Ridge Local trains run daily mid-March through October and weekends only in November. Additional services offered throughout the year include Chickamauga Turn trains to Chickamauga, Georgia on summer weekends, Dixie Land Special excursions into northwest Georgia, and North Pole Limited trains during the holidays. Grand Junction Station is located near I-75, Exit 4 at the Jersey Pike exit from Highway 153.

Be a Conductor at the Chattanooga Choo Choo

All aboard!! Now you can be a Conductor for a day and tour the 24-acre Chattanooga Choo Choo complex. Hop aboard the original 1924 Electric Trolley and help the Conductor ride through the famous Choo Choo station by ringing the bell.
